Pics : Unilag student jumps into Lagoon for repeatedly failing a course

Omashe ooo! When will some people realize that schooling is not all in life! ehn!....look at this precious soul that almost lost his life because of a university course.On Tuesday, November 18th ,the student pictured above attempted to commit suicide  by jumping into the Lagos lagoon after discovering he had failed a course again. The student, whose names were withheld, was studying physics in the University of Lagos.



Eyewitnesses said he was thought to have jumped in order to swim, but after other students near the water observed he was drowning, few of them jumped in to save him.

After the rescue, he revealed that he had just been sent out of an examination hall, where he was re-writing a course he had repeatedly failed before, and for which he had spent two  years in order to retake it. He added that he was caught with 'expo'  which he took into the exams hall.

He was later taken to the university medical center for treatment.
