The shooting is coming after Charlie's latest tweet of a cartoon caricature of the Islamic State militant group leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The satirical weekly has courted controversy in the past with its irreverent take on news and current affairs.

An eyewitness reported that Two black-hooded men entered the building with Kalashnikovs(AK-47),a few minutes later,several shots were heard.The men were then seen fleeing the building.
Among the dead were 2 police officers. A manhunt has been launched by the french police.
